Clinical Services
Starting in August 2025, I will be offering clinical evaluations at the TAP Clinic in Durham, NC (click "Book with Tyler" link to take you to their website). The TAP clinic is a state of the art, evidence-based private practice located in Durham, North Carolina. We offer lifespan assessments for any referral concern, ranging from general, "what is going on?!" to specific, "I think there might be a learning disability at play", for example.

Autism Diagnostic Evaluation
With a year-long residency in autism and neurodevelopmental disabilities and a three-year specialization in autism in females, my main area of focus is autism evaluations. I will be offering lifespan evaluations (18m-100+yrs) for any level of language learner. I approach autism from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective and am happy to work with you and your family in the ways you are most comfortable. Whether this is a first-time adulthood diagnosis or a first-time concern for new parents, I'm happy to walk you through what autism means today.
Comprehensive Assessment
Comprehensive psychological evaluations mean a lot of different things. What we do at TAP is look at the person from multiple perspectives to answer a variety of questions. Our comprehensive assessments will leave no stone un-turned. We will conduct cognitive, learning, and adaptive testing to understand how presenting problems may impact learning or social avenues. We will also evaluate for the presence of neurodevelopmental disorders, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, and/or trauma-related disorders. This services is best for someone who just wants to know, "what is going on and how can I best be supported?"
Developmental "Check-Up"
Getting a re-evaluation for school or medical purposes can be exhausting! Especially if you have to sit on long waitlists for a re-eval for a diagnosis you already have and are not questioning. We will be offering developmental "check-up" evaluations that are fraction of the cost (and time). These are best for individuals who need updated cognitive or learning profiles for school (IEP/504 plans), as well as higher-education accommodations (note-taker in college, extra time for the SAT, LSAT, or GRE).
All Ages
We offer evaluations for all ages, ranging from early-intervention evaluations to cognitive aging.
Wait Time
At TAP, we do not believe in year-long waitlists. We can get you in and get you seen. Contact us to learn about our availability.
Cost
TAP does not accept insurance. Evaluations are billed on a flat fee out of pocket. Contact us for more information about our sliding scale and pro-bono work.
